Langbiang Journey
Memories of an Unfinished Dream
In the heart of the highlands, memories become breath…
Unlock The Forgotten Dream
The early sunlight stirs the ancient pine canopy. Time slows down along a red dirt path, where the wind hums and carries the scent of dry wild grass, dissolving into the air. Gradually, fragments of the past are revealed—where love and memories gently linger and softly resonate.
Quietly nestled on An Sơn Hill, Hôtel Fantaisie Dalat is one of the first fantasy-themed hotels in Vietnam. The property is built upon archival materials and memoirs of those who took part in expeditions to the Lang Biang Plateau over a century ago.
This journey originates from the expedition of the Dutch East India Company from Thuận Thành to the western highlands, continues through the travels of Nguyễn Thông and Trương Gia Hội to Upper Đồng Nai, and culminates in the renowned explorations of Paul Neis, Auguste Pavie, and Alexandre Yersin.
Hôtel Fantaisie is designed as a cinematic, realist stage that reenacts that journey, bringing to life the above explorers and the stories of their lives. The hotel offers a highly artistic hospitality experience shaped by a non-linear narrative approach.
Every symbol, every handcrafted interior detail, and every interplay of light and shadow is carefully composed to tell the story of life in this land—slowly, and with enduring presence.
Fantaisie is an unfinished love song—where love transcends language but is torn apart by war; a story of faith, freedom, and national identity.
Holding the key that unlocks a long-dormant dream, you are invited to step into a new kind of journey of rest and discovery—returning to your truest self in the most pristine version of Dalat, and continuing the next chapters of a film that has been preserved for thousands of years within the great forest.
